NOEL NEILL Appears in NEW YORK CITY

On September 16th, longtime fans had a the honor to meet the original Lois Lane at the New York City Movie & TV Memorabilia Show, located at The Holy Cross School, 332 W. 43rd. Between avenue 8th and 9th. The show was hosted by Terry Soto of "Out Of The Past: Movie Collectables" (718-387-7604) who I consider to be an ace of a guy. And of course Noel was accompanied by her manager and writer of the book, Truth, Justice and the American Way, The Life and Times of Noel Neill, The Original Lois Lane. Which by the way, Larry was in awe his supply of books sold out almost immediately. Well Larry, Manhattan is a pretty big city with a heart even bigger for the ever lovely Noel. Metropolis loves their Lois Lane. So my advise to Larry is next time....bring a lot more books. LOL.

Noel of course was greeted by a steady flow of loyal fans like Steve Friedman and Ron Soldano who were there to meet Noel for the first time. All were in awe of her cheerful bright smile and wonderful disposition as she sported wearing a unique style Superman shirt beneath her yellow coat. Sharp eyed fans will note the "S configuation is identical to the 1953 style, only with the tradition color cues. It was a perfect match in every way. Mr. Joe Franklin the radio legend talk show host also stopped by for a visit. He'd offered numerous times that if Noel needed anything to feel free to call on him. And so one fan after another came in and ultimately not a minute passed where she took a moment for herself. In fact she hadn't eaten for most of the show time. By the time the show had ended she'd felt the effects. But she pulled through and even took time to visit the Caro family including the newborns waiting outside in the van with their Super-Mom Janet. Eddie and Janet are the proud parents of quadruplets, two girls, two boys.

Also making an appearance is Mr. Larry Storch of F-Troop fame from the 1960's. Mr. Storch played the lovable, hypochondriac, insanely halarious Corporal Randolf Agarn. Larry proudly wearing his famous hat from the series has fond memories of the wonderful and unique comedy. I reminisced with Larry several bits from the show. Among the many memories included his Hacowie war dance in the first episode. Just flat out incredible. He had nothing but wonderful things to say about his co-stars, Melody Patterson, Forrest Tucker, Ken Berry, Bob Steele, Joe Brooks, James Hampton, Don Diamond, John Mitchum and everyone's favorite chief Frank DeKova. Larry recalled all the supporting regulars were great fun and gave a great laugh remembering guest star Paul Lynde, aka "the Singing Mounting." F-Troop is one of my big favorites, ranking up there with McHale's Navy, The Munster's, The Adam's Family. All 60's great TV the current network prime time should learn lessons from. Having trouble finding something enjoyable to watch on television, F-Troop The First Season DVD is available at stores and soon to be released but at this time no date for the second season.

LIVE FROM PHOENIX, ARIZONA, It's Saturday afternoon with NOEL NEILL

And no sooner did I have this page ready for the Bulldog Edition last night did I receieve an e-mail from our good friend, Mr.Mike Goldman. Here is Mike's comments:

Noel and Larry were in town today (Sept.24), at the Phoenix ComicCon. Had a great afternoon. Was treated like royalty, and more importantly, like family. Big crowds. Noel's table had lots of traffic. Plenty of books and photos being sold. Plenty of hugs and kisses were exchanged on all of your behalf.

Thank you Mike for extending our best wishes to Noel and sharing this with the readers of The Adventures Continue. And a special note to Larry Ward. Thank you Larry for all the hard work you do to jet set Noel around the country to meet all her legions of admirers. We could never thank you enough for all you do, which is greatly appreciated by so many people. From TAC and the good folks at Glass House Presents, we extend a big heart warming THANK YOU.

Noel has always been the positive role model and inspiration for young women. Today it is no different.

Seen here with LeAnn McCaslin, Larry Ward's lovely young daughter.

Thanks for Watching.
