TAC appreciates all that Jan Alan Henderson has contributed over the many years and for sharing with the readers his very special and warm relationship with Cecil Elliot. And while the entire cast was extraordinary in the classic dark and moody episode of The Evil Three, it is Cecil Elliot who is the amazing stand out. Fans will recall her decent down the ramp to the lower levels of BAYOU Hotel, her look of fear will forever be unforgettable. Her laugh and cries are recalled as most chilling. During a scene with Perry White and Jimmy Olsen, she exuberated sympathy during her moment of desperation of being left behind with two deranged individual played by Rhys Williams and Johnathan Hale. And who could forget her loud outburst at Macy and The Colonel? "Murderers...murderers...that's what you are!! Ahhh, murderers!" Her screams are second only to Phyllis Coates who unleashed her own blistering trademark screech in so many of the 1951 season episodes. And although the episode is titled, The Evil Three, Elsa turned out to be, not evil at all. Personally, my only disappointment is Ms. Elliot never returned for other episodes as did so many other character actors. TAC hopes you've enjoyed this contribution. |
Thanks for Watching.
