On July 21, 1951, filming of Superman and the Mole-Men ended. Two days later, production began on the first group of episodes of the Adventures of Superman: "The Secret of Superman," "Case of the Talkative Dummy," "Runaway Robot," "Double Trouble," and "Mystery of the Broken Statues." Note that several of these had different working titles. This set of episodes was filmed between Monday, July 23 and Saturday, August 4, 1951. This cast sheet indicates they worked Monday through Saturday that first season. By checking the "Days Worked," you can get an indication of the dates on which certain scenes were filmed. For instance, Mrs. Olsen and Jake both worked on Day 12. The means that most likely, the scene with Jimmy's mother in "Secret of Superman" and the lab scene in "Double Trouble" were both filmed on Saturday, August 4.
