Wednesday July 25, 1951: Day 3 of the first set of episodes was focused on “The Mystery Of The Broken Statues.” Because this was the only day both Maurice Cass and Wade Crosby worked, it’s a pretty sure bet that Pete and Charley visited Ellie’s Gift Shop and were prevented from leaving by Clark Kent (who was not being mild-mannered that day). Later, Kent and Henderson subject Charley (Wade Crosby) a thorough interrogation.

And now here’s where a little guess work comes in. We know the scene with Wade Crosby in Insp Henderson’s office was filmed on July 25. And since both “Talkative Dummy” and “Broken Statues” include additional scenes that take place in Henderson’s office, it’s quite possible all these were filmed on the same day, July 25.

George could have spent the entire day in Henderson’s office grilling Charley, explaining how crooks can get their instructions from a second ventriloquist, and solving a difficult rebus.
