And now, another exciting episode in the
Adventures of Superman...

Thursday August 9, 1951 was the fourth day of filming of the second set of episodes which included “The Mind Machine,” “No Holds Barred,” “The Birthday Letter,” “The Stolen Costume,” and “Mystery In Wax.”

Supporting Players:
Normal Budd (Teaball)
Frank Jenks (Candy)
Dan Seymour (Ace)
Veda Ann Borg (Connie)

The focus was on "The Stolen Costume" this Thursday. Jenks, Seymour, and Borg worked a total of three days together (August 7, 9, and 10)... so again, we can't be sure when any particular scenes were filmed. However, parts of other episodes were filmed on the 7th, so quite likely most of the Ace/Connie scenes were done on August 9 & 10. Also, Seymour and Borg were called back on Saturday, August 18. It's a good guess that their climb down the mountain happened then. Added note... Isa Ashdown (Kathy Williams) was also needed on Saturday, August 18, so her flight with George was probably filmed on that date too.

Now here's my thinking: Budd worked August 7 and 9. The police officer also worked on August 7... so the shot in the alley probably happened on Tuesday. That leaves his scenes in Ace's apartment for Thursday, August 9. And since that apartment was lit for Teaball's arrival, maybe Clark's arrival in the apartment was filmed on this date too. That's conjecture, of course, but it's fun to think about.
